On-Site Testing
HES on-site testing and tool re-certification services are available nationwide and can be carried out at customer locations.
HES operates two specialized on-site test vehicles, fully equipped and accessible across the country, dedicated to conducting routine on-site testing and re-certification of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric tools.
Our on-site testing service includes the provision of tool registers that will record every tool inspected and tested in terms of model number, manufacturer, unique identification number and all previous HES testing history. This service enables users to comply with all current requirements of LOLER 98 lifting regulations, PUWER 98 provision and use of equipment regulations and Health and Safety Guidance (88).
Any tools failing our on-site testing will be notified in writing to the client on the daily test report, along with the reasons for the failure and our recommendations, regarding repair or replacements. We are also able to take all failed tools off-site for a free, no-obligation repair quotation following a detailed strip down and examination at our workshops, along with a competitively priced replacement cost, for those tools found to be beyond economic repair.
HES also provides on-site HAV (Hand Arm Vibration) testing services aimed at assisting clients in evaluating and reducing the risk of HAVS among their workforce. Our team comprises five fully qualified HAV engineers trained to IOSH standards, all with extensive experience in this field.
Additionally, HES technicians can also carry out PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) testing at customer locations for various types of electrical equipment.
